The variations in chicken appetizers are innumerable. Chef Shantanu Gupte brings you this delicious spicy chicken starter recipe called Chicken 65. Enjoy this spicy dish with red and green capsicum
Boneless chicken – 200 grams
1 tsp turmeric
1tsp coriander powder
Cornflour 1/4th cup
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp jeera/cumin
6-8 curry leaves
1 tbsp chilli paste
8-10 pepper corns
2 tbsp chilli garlic sauce
1 red pepper
1 green pepper
1/2 tbsp lemon juice
-Keep the boneless chicken in one bowl.
-Keep a pan on the stove and pour some oil.
-Marinate the chicken by adding chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, 1/4th cup of cornflour, salt, cracked pepper, pepper powder. Now mix well and add an egg to the mixture. Again mix well.
– Now deep fry this mixture in hot oil till they become crispy and golden brown from outside.
-Keep a pan on the stove again and pour some oil.
-Add some cumin, curry leaves, chilli paste, pepper corns and saute it.
– Add chilli garlic sauce and saute it.
– Also add some red and green capsicum.
-Now add the chicken in the pan as well.
-Add some salt and toss it all together.
-You can also add some lemon juice and vinegar.
-Serve it hot and enjoy this spicy dish.
