chilli paneer or paneer chilli is one of those fusion indian chinese recipes that is very popular. there are two versions of chilli paneer recipe. one is a dry and crispy version and the second is a sauce or gravy version. this paneer chilli recipe is a gravy version with a restaurant style taste and flavor.
to get that taste, stir fry at a medium-high to high heat. also do use a heavy and good quality pan or wok (kadai), so that the veggies or the sauce does not get burnt. depending on the quality of pan, you can keep the heat from medium to high, while stir frying.
this recipe gives a spicy chilli paneer as along with green chilies, red chili sauce is also used. depending on the heat and pungency of green chilies, you can add them less or more.
you can add less or more of soy sauce and red chilli sauce as per your taste requirements.
serve this restaurant style paneer chilli as a side dish with veg fried rice, hakka noodles, veg noodles or burnt garlic fried rice.
