Hello viewers! In this episode I will be showing you how to prepare traditional Dry Shark Fry. This dish is very popular in Kerala, hope you all enjoy it!
Make sure you soak the shark meat before cooking to remove the excess salt.
How to prepare Dry Shark Fry:
3/4 cup of dry shark
3/4 cup of chopped shallots
1/2 tbsp Kashmiri Chilli
2 tbsp Chilli flakes
Coconut oil – 5 tbsp
Salt to taste
Step 1: Pour Oil.
Step 2: Add shark
Step 3: Fry for 5 minutes, or until crispy
Step 4: Add coconut.
Step 5: Fry till golden brown
Step 1: In the same vessel, pour two tbsp of oil.
Step 2: First, shallow fry the shallots.
Step 3: Once the shallots are translucent add Kashmiri chilli powder, chilli flakes and curry leaves.
Step 4: Add the fried shark and coconut to the mixture.
Step 5: Mix for 1-2 minutes.
Step 6: Check salt, add more if needed.
Step 7: Serve into a serving plate.
Step 8: Enjoy!
