In this episode, I will be showing you how to prepare fish tikka! Fish tikkas and tikkas as a whole is very popular in South Asia and Middle Eastern countries! Thanks to all the people who requested for this video! Here it is!
HOW TO MAKE FISH TIKKA:
Boneless Fish – 650 gms
Lime juice – 1 tbsp
Crushed pepper – 1tbsp
Garlic paste – 1 1/2 tbsp
Ginger paste – 1 1/2 tbsp
Cumin seed powder – 1/2 tbsp
Kashmiri chili powder – 1 tbsp
Crushed mint leaves – 1 1/2 tablespoon
Crushed coriander leaves – 1 1/2 tablespoon
Yogurt – 4 tbsp
Corn flour – 2 1/2 tbsp
Olive oil – 5 tbsp
Salt to taste
Few drops of red food color (optional)
For garnishing: Lime, coriander leaves and mint leaves
Step 1: Add all ingredients except oil.
Step 2: Coat fish with the ingredients well.
Step 3: Refrigerate for 2 hours for marinating.
Step 4: Keep fish at room temperature for 1/2 hour before grilling.
Step 5: To a hot pan, pour oil.
Step 6: Place the fish pieces in the pan. (Avoid excess batter.)
Step 7: Fry the thick pieces on their sides.
Step 8: Garnish with mint leaves, coriander leaves and lime.
Step 9: ENJOY!
For added flavor, squeeze some lime juice on the tikka.
