Kal Dosa


Raw Rice – 1 cup
Idli Rice – 1 cup
Urad Dal – 1/2 cup
Fenugreek Seed – 1/4 tsp


1. Clean and soak the idli rice and raw rice for about 8 hours
2. Also, clean and soak urad dal and fenugreek seeds for about 8 hours
3. After 8 hours, remove the water and grind them into a thick and smooth batter
4. Heat the dosa tawa and pour in a ladle of batter and add some oil
5. Once the dosa is cooked on one side, flip it to the other side and cook evenly on both sides
6. Kal dosa is ready to be served hot with any gravy or chutney
