2 tbsp coconut Oil
½ tsp of fenugreek seeds
1/2 tsp anise seeds
½ tsp of cumin seeds
curry leaves
5-6 green chillies
7-8 pods of garlic
2 large chopped onions
2 medium sized chopped tomatoes
½ tsp turmeric powder
3 tsp of chilli powder
11/2 tsp of coriander powder
4 -5 tbsp tamarind water
1/2 kg king fish

In a mud pot (optional) add coconut oil, heat it up for some time then add fenugreek seeds, anise seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves then stir it.

Add green chillies, garlic pods, chopped onions and salt. Cook until the onions are translucent.

Add thinly sliced tomatoes, turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder and water. Cover it with a lid and let it cook.

Add tamarind water (soak 2 small balls of tamarind in hot water) then add the fish and stir for sometime.

Cover the pot with the lid again and let it cook for 5-8 minutes on low flame.

King Fish Curry is ready to be served!
