1 litre Full Fat Milk
⅓ cup Basmati Rice (Soaked for 15-20 minutes and rinsed under running water)
1-2 tsp. cardamom powder
⅓ cup Sugar or as per taste
Almonds (Soaked overnight, peeled and chopped)
In a saucepan, add milk and bring it to a boil. Then add the soaked basmati rice, cardamom pods and cook for 60 minutes. Once the milk is reduced by half, add sugar as per taste, golden sultanas, almonds and mix well. Turn off the flame and add pistachios. Garnish with pistachios and rose petals.
Rice Kheer is ready to eat!
