HOW TO PREPARE PAZHAM PORI
Plantains (Nenthra Pazham – നേന്ത്രപഴം ) – 2 numbers (sliced)
All purpose flour – 1 cup
Rice powder – 2 tbsp
Sugar – 3 tbsp
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tbsp
Water – 200 ml
Coconut oil – 400 ml
Step 1: Mix all ingredients together (expect plantains and oil)
Note: Make sure batter is LUMP-FREE.
Step 2: Pour oil into the hot pan.
Step 3: After the oil is hot, start frying the sliced plantains.
Step 4: Flip to fry the other side, after one minute.
TIP: Fry the leftover batter to avoid wastage.
Step 5: Enjoy the delicious Pazham Pori.
