Prawn Pakoda is one of the most tasty appetiser for Sea-food lovers. This is a dish of prawn that have been battered in a spicy mix and deep fried.
The recipe to prepare this popular snack is very simple and requires very less ingredients. Do try and post your comments below!
1/2 cup gram flour sieved
1 cup prawn cleaned and chopped
2 tbsp Rice flour
1 small onion chopped
10-12 curry leaves chopped
4 tbsp spring greens chopped
4 tbsp dill leaves
1 tbsp green chilly chopped
1 tbsp crushed ginger garlic
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp chilli powder
¼ tsp. garam masala powder
Salt as required
Oil for deep frying
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Salt as needed
1 tbsp lemon juice
Deep fried green chillies with a sprinkle of salt
In a bowl add 1/2 cup gram flour sieved, 2 tbsp Rice flour, 1 small onion chopped, 1 tbsp green chilly chopped, 1 tbsp crushed ginger garlic, 4 tbsp dill leaves, 4 tbsp spring greens chopped, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp chilli powder, ¼ tsp. garam masala powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, Salt as required, 10-12 curry leaves chopped and mix it nicely.
Add 1 cup prawns, some water and prepare a thick batter.
Make small balls and deep fry them.
