Recipe 1 Red velvet cake
maida – 1 cup
corn flour – 1 cup
coco powder – 1 tbspn
baking powder – 1/2 tspn
salt -1/4 tspn
butter – 70 gm
icing sugar – 3/4 cup
egg – 1
vanilla essence – 1 tspn
cream cheese – 120 gm
curd – 1/2 cup
red food colour – 1 ounce
whipping cream – 1/3 cup
Preheat oven 160 degree
1.Sift maida, corn flour, coco powder and baking powder. Combine with salt in a bowl. Set aside.
2.Beat butter in a bowl until it turn to cream colour.
3.Add icing sugar into it and beat again.
4.Beat with egg and vanilla essence.
5.Mix red food colour into the curd in a bowl.
6.Pour into the mixing bowl and beat a second.
7.Add one portion of dry ingredients to wet mixture and fold, then second portion and fold again. Beat well.
8.Combine half tspn vinegar and half tspn baking soda in a bowl. Suddenly, add to the mixture.
9.Pour it to the greased pan and bake for 45 mins.
10.Combine cream cheese with icing sugar and vanilla essence in a bowl. To beat in high speed for 2 mins.
11.Pour whipping cream and beat again.
12.Cut the cake into two parts.
13.Fill the cream in between cake.
14.Decorate with cream.
Recipe 2 – Chocolate lava cake
butter – 95 gm
maida – 35 gm
dark chocolate – 135 gm
egg yolk – 2 nos
icing sugar – 100 gm
vanilla essence – 1 spn
1.Melt the dark chocolate and butter in microwave or in a double boiler.
2.Beat these ingredients one by one in a bowl. Firstly egg, then icing sugar, vanilla essence, chocolate butter mixture and maida.
3.Keep in refrigerator for 10 mins. At the same time preheat the oven on 200 degree C for 10 mins.
4.After 10 mins transfer the batter to the cup cake mould and bake for 10 mins.
