There are a lot of jump rope benefits, now it depends on you how you make it work for yourself.

Regular Skips: These are a warm up for your body and you are working all your muscles
Single Leg Skips: Here you are working on each leg individually and equally
Front & Back Skips: Works your glutes, hamstrings and lower back. Plus it is great for co-ordination.
Side To Side Skips: This works your outer and inner thighs.

TIP: Remember to wear your sports gear including the right shoes and always wear a sports bra.
