Grated coconut – ½ of a coconut.
Coriander seeds – 3 tbsp.
Turmeric powder – ½ tbsp.
Fenugreek seeds – ¼ tbsp.
Cumin seeds – ½ tbsp.
Urad dal – 1 tbsp.
Chana dal – 2 tbsp.
Dried chilli – as needed.
Shallots – 4nos.
Asafoetida – as needed.

Clean and cut the vegetables into large pieces.

Potato – 2nos.
Plantain – 1nos.
Drumsticks – 3nos.
Sambar payar – as needed.
Okra – 7nos.
Brinjal – 1nos.
Carrot – 1nos.
Onion – 1 nos.
Tomato – 1nos.
Green chilli – as needed.
Tamarind water – as needed.
