Oil – 2 tsp
Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
Chopped Ginger – 1 no
Chopped Green Chili – 2 no
Chopped Curry leaves
Chopped Onion – 2 no
Wheat flour – 1 cup
Buttermilk – 1 cup
Chopped Coriander leaves
1.Take a saucepan, add 2 tsp of Oil, 1/2 tsp of Mustard seeds and 1/2 tsp of Cumin seeds.
2.Once Mustard seeds start crackling, add 1 chopped Ginger, 2 Chopped Green Chili, few chopped Curry leaves and 2 medium sized chopped Onion, Salt and Saute it all together.
3.Once the Onion is transparent, keep it aside and let it cool.
4.Take a bowl, add 1 cup of Wheat flour and dilute it with 1 cup of thick buttermilk.
5.Mix it well till you get batter and pouring consistency. Add more water or buttermilk if required.
6.Now, transfer the sauteed ingredients to the batter and mix it well.
7.Season with some salt and chopped coriander leaves. Mix it well.
8.Let it sit for 1 hour.
9.Heat a tawa and Pour a little batter onto the tawa and spread it evenly.
10.Drizzle a little Oil on the edges.
11.Keep the flame on medium-low and slow cook the dosa.
Your Wheat Dosa is ready to be served with some chutney or sambar.
