CAUSES

Skin is made up of elastin, which is a soft elastic tissue. It makes the skin soft, supple and stretchable. Over-stretching of skin damages elastin resulting in stretch marks
Sudden weight change
Rapid body growth during teenage
Pregnancy

SYMPTOMS

Stretch marks are thick red or purple lines on the skin
Over time, these lines fade to white or silver in colour

REMEDY 1:

Take 2 egg whites
Apply a thick layer of it on the stretch marks using a makeup brush
Allow the egg whites to dry completely
Rinse with cold water
Apply this for 2 weeks daily

REMEDY 2:

Take 1 tbsp alfalfa powder
Add 5 drops of chamomile oil
Mix well
Massage this paste on the stretch marks 2-3 times a day
Repeat this daily for a week
