falooda is popular summer dessert drink in india. its popular all over india specially in delhi and mumbai. its not only delicious but also very cooling for the summers as sabja seeds are added to falooda, which are cooling in nature. there is another variation of kulfi falooda in which kulfi is served with falooda, rabri and sabja seeds.
sabja seeds are also known as tukmaria seeds or sweet basil seeds. for the falooda sev, you can use vermicelli made from corn starch, rice flour, whole wheat or semolina.
the falooda recipe shown in the video, serves 4. you can easily halve or double the amount of sabja seeds and falooda sev. leftover soaked sabja seeds and sev can be refrigerated.
though rose syrup is generally used to make falooda, you can also use rooh afza or khus syrup.
serve falooda immediately as soon as you assemble it.
