Ingredients
For the Kofta
250gms Mutton kheema
1 small onion finely chopped
2 nos chopped green chillies
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
1/2 tsp garam masala
2 tbsp maida ( plain flour ) / rice flour
1 no egg
3 no boiled eggs
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
For the gravy
3 large tomatoes
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
2 tbsp raw onion paste
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp red chilly powder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
5 tbsp whipped yogurt
2 tbsp oil
1 cup water
Salt to taste
Coriander for garnish

Method
– In a saucepan add water and salt then place the hard boil eggs in it and boil the water for 6-7 minutes.Once the eggs are boiled keep them aside to cool.
– In a bowl add minced meat, chopped onions, chopped chillies, ginger garlic paste, garam masala, salt, refined flour & whipped egg.
– Mix all the ingredients and minced meat together
– Check if the eggs are cooled down and then peel them.
– Start heating some oil and meanwhile take the kofta mixture and cover the eggs with it.
– Dab some flour over the kofta eggs
– Dip them into the egg wash and then fry them in the heated oil.
– Fry the koftas on low flame and keep frying them until they turn golden brown. Place the koftas on tissue paper to get rid of excess oil
– In a pan add some oil, onion puree, ginger garlic paste, tomato puree and let the tomatoes cook for sometime
– Add whipped curd, salt, garam masala, turmeric and red chilli powder mix it properly and let it cook
– Add the kofta’s to the gravy and add a cup full of water.
– Garnish it with coriander.
– Nargisi Kofta are ready to be served!
