No Maida Fruit Cake | Healthy And Easy Fruit Cake Recipe – A fruit cake made without refined flour and eggs, and can be made without an oven too! Quite interesting. List of Ingredients & Method of Making

  • 2 cups of rava (fine semolina)
  • ½ cup of refined vegetable oil
  • 1 cup of curd
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 4 tsp of salt
  • ½ tsp of baking powder
  • ½ tsp of baking soda
  • 1 tsp of cardamom powder
  • ½ cup of tutti frutti
  • 1 tsp of flour

  1. Prepare the tin for baking by lining it with butter paper and brushing the bottom.
  2. Set the oven to 180C and preheat it for 10 minutes. Alternatively, cover and preheat a kadai/pressure cooker with 2 cups of salt spread at the bottom.
  3. Grind the rava in a mixer until it becomes a fine powder.
  4. Blend the curd and the oil. Add sugar and blend well. Pour milk and mix well.
  5. Add the baking soda and rava to the mixture and mix well. Allow it to stand for 5 minutes.
  6. Dust the tutti fruity with flour.
  7. Add baking powder and cardamom powder to the batter and mix well. Fold in the tutti fruity.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared tin and bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until a skewer inserted comes out clean. Allow it to cool before cutting.
