Hello everyone! In this episode, I show you how to prepare one of my favorite seafood dishes, Chemmeen Ularthiyathu (Shrimp fry). This dish can be eaten with rice or chappathis.

RECIPE
Ingredients
1 kg Shrimp
150 grams crushed shallots
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder
1/2 tablespoon Kashmiri Chili powder
2 tablespoon crushed chili
8 tablespoon coconut oil
25 curry leaves(approx.)
1/2 glass water
Salt for taste

Preparation:
Step 1: Heat Uruli. Pour half the oil.
Step 2: Once the oil is hot add shallots. DO NOT make them golden brown, just translucent.
Step 3: Then add ginger-garlic paste, Kashmiri Chili Powder, Turmeric powder and crushed chili flakes.
Step 4: Mix the ingredients for about 30 seconds.
Step 5: Add shrimp.
Step 6: Let the masala get coated on the shrimp well.
Step 7: Pour 1/2 glass of water. Mix well.
Step 8: Cover it with the lid for about 10 minutes, so that the extra water evaporates and the shrimp is cooked well.
Step 9: Season with coconut oil and curry leaves.
Step 10: Serve.
Step 11: ENJOY!
